Our Proven Process: The Five D's
Discover Your Motivation
After the initial call, we help you create the life and career of your dreams. The process will require some thought and can take 30-90 days. We will have multiple meetings. The cost is $2,400.
First, we discover your motivation. What is your why? What are your life goals? What are your financial goals? If you own a practice, what are those goals? This may be personal, but it is crucial that you share this with us. Otherwise, we may help you "build a ladder that ends at the top of the wrong building."
Define Where You Are
Second, we help you realize and define where you are in relation to your "why' and your goals. This self-inventory is often encouraging for many dentists. As dentists, we are trained to find and focus on problems. After we treat the problems, we are trained to focus on the imperfections. When you step back and take a broader view of where you are, you will likely notice you are well-positioned to thrive! Candor is essential at this juncture. If we don't know where you are, we can't help you get where you want to go.
Diagnose Your Barriers
Third, we diagnose your barriers. This can be a lot to unpack. It can be very uncomfortable to open up and be vulnerable. However, this is necessary to get the best advice. Imagine if your patient misrepresented to you the presence of discomfort on a recently crowned tooth. If they wait until they have facial swelling to tell you about the discomfort, treatment will be much more expensive and time-consuming. Examples of barriers include clinical challenges, strained relationships, problematic team members, hurtful habits, and more.
Design Your Plan
Fourth, we design a customized plan to help you overcome your challenges and reach your goals. While this may involve referrals to specialist, John Pulsipher has breadth and depth of experience to help you find the solutions to your problems. If our network must be tapped, rest assured it includes expers including dental attorneys, accountants, financial planners, continuing education providers, software/AI experts, and more.
Drive the Change
Finally, we drive the change by implementing our custom coaching systems and metrics. We may recommend you utilize software, systems, and additional professionals that are not included in your monthly consulting fee. The next section lists examples of the consulting services we offer.
After completing the Five D's of Dental Success, you are eligible for ongoing consulting services. This entails a monthly, one-hour call. Initial pricing is $200/month.
